Other Information

  • Pyramid:
    • Kalani
    • Kendall, Nia
    • Maddie, Mackenzie
  • The ALDC's group dance was inspired by Orange Is The New Black and was choreographed by Molly Long, who had previously served as a choreographer on Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition.[2] Each of the girls portrayed a different character from the show:
    • Kalani: Nicole "Nicky" Nichols
    • Kendall: Tricia Miller
    • Mackenzie: Galina "Red" Reznikov
    • Maddie: Piper Chapman
    • Nia: Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren
  • Abby and the girls did an Afterbuzz interview after the airing of the episode.[3]
    • According to Abby, the discussion about what girls needed photos was out of context, and she was discussing which girls already had quality, usable headshots.[4]
    • The filmed photo session was rushed, because Studio B had a class already scheduled for its use, and needed to be vacated quickly.[5]
    • According to Abby and some of the girls, the next day was off for filming; and Abby spent that entire day with Nia, Kendall, Kalani and Maddie at an outside photo studio, where they shot the photos actually seen in the next episode.[6]
