  • Despite the previous episode being advertised as being nationals, it was speculated that filming would continue after NYDE advertised that the upcoming competition would be filmed for the show. However, on the week of the competition, it was announced that it had been canceled.[1]
  • Bryan Stinson, executive producer of Dance Moms, confirmed in early February that the show will continue.[2] It has been confirmed that all of the girls will be returning.
  • February 3: Release of Kendall's single "Where Would I Be Without You"

  • During the week Christi posted a photo of Chloe and Clara alongside Erin Babbs with the caption "Never say never...#DanceMomsOG". Camera crew are visible in the background, which implies that the Lukasiaks could be competing under MDP for the show.[4]
  • Kendall's solo is the same one that didn't air in ALDC Ain't Dead Yet.
  • The group dance was based on veganism, with each of the girls representing a different animal.

  • The girls worked with choreographers Laurieann "Harlee" Gibson and Meagan Nugent this week.[6][7]
  • The Lukasiaks were present at the competition with Murrieta Dance Project.
  • After the competition, Ashlee stated on one of her posts that Abby "left the team", which has led to speculation that Abby has left the show for good.[8]
  • February 24: Initial date for Abby's court hearing. However, it was canceled two days prior[9] and moved to May 8.[10]

  • Abby returned to filming this week after the dismissal of Laurieann Gibson and Meagan Nugent[14]. Due to this, the team decided to protest against the producers and Abby.[15][16][17] The teens ended up not competing at the competition and instead took pictures, signed t-shirts and hung out with fans.[18][19]
  • Maesi's 12th birthday was the day of the competition.
  • March 17: Girls on set shooting with Rock Your Hair.
