Lyrics[]

No, sorry, I can't tell you my name
You won't see me no more
after today
No point in moving on to the truth
sharing lies of our youth
Unless we can say we

Feel like letting go of every
Little string that holds us back from living as we would
Feel like letting go of every
Ounce of pride that lets us hide from loving as we could

No, sorry, not prepared for goodbyes
But regret's not too hard to recognize
No point in wishing for heavy change
We cannot rearrange what we know to be wise
Unless we

Feel like letting go of every
Little string that holds us back from living as we would
Feel like letting go of every
Ounce of pride that lets us hide from loving as we could

No, sorry, I'll pretend to be brave
Can't afford now to cave while you're standing here
No, please don't try to reason a way
Or begin to delay what will just disappear
Unless we

Feel like letting go of every
Little string that holds us back from living as we would
Feel like letting go of every
Ounce of pride that lets us hide from loving as we could

We could

Trivia[]

  • Brooke's costume was reused from ALDC student, Stephanie Pittman, who used the costume for her "Letter by Letter" solo in 2008. It was later supposed to be used for Brooke's "The Diary of Anne Frank" solo in Break a Leg, however it was pulled due to an injury.
